They Can't Kill Us All
Why do all those adventurers always get to walk into any dungeon and steal the treasures inside? They might belong to someone!
Play a growing horde of slimes and defend your sacred gem from those 'heroes' that try to take it away from you. Evolve and take their powers to show them that slimes can be more than just the first enemy you kill in an RPG!
(Game made for the ScoreSpace Jam #16 with the theme 'Clones'. Play it in the browser or download the Windows executable at the bottom of the page.)
Controls
- W, A, S, D: Moves all of your slimes in the target direction
- Escape: Pauses the game
- Left mouse-click: Makes dark green slimes dash to target location and makes orange slimes shoot fireballs
Slimes
When killing an enemy, there's a small chance they might drop an item that gives your slime their power or an ability similar to it. After every enemy of a wave is killed, (most of) your slimes duplicate. Here are their powers:
- Blue (Normal): No abilities, but can transform into other slimes.
- Pink (Healer): Has more health and emits healing pulses that heal other slimes.
- Light green (Tank): Has way more health and absorbs nearby damage.
- Purple (Shaman): Every few seconds, a shock pulse deals damage to anything around it.
- Black (Necromancer): Conjures ghosts whenever a nearby slime dies.
- Orange (Mage): Shoots fireballs towards a target location.
- Dark green (Rogue): Dashes towards target location.
- Gray (Fighter): Has more health and deals more damage.
